LION Automatic Numbering Machines are the highest quality and the most durable stamps in the market at prices less than the competition. LION machines are precision crafted of one-piece hardened steel and finished in rugged, high-polish chrome. Ideal for sequential numbering operation to use as date and number stamp, serial number stamp, inspection stamp, etc. Customizing is also available so that it can work to your exact specifications. Made in Japan.
Here, the field code SEQ is the winning choice. SEQ is a sequence numbering code often used for things like figures or illustrations (think “Figure 1”). What makes it an ideal choice here is the ability to name each sequence separately. In other words, we can define one numbering sequence for interrogatories, another one for requests for production, and a third one for requests for admission. Microsoft Word will be able to keep each numbering sequence separate because each will have a distinct name.
Infinite sequences of digits (or characters) drawn from a finite alphabet are of particular interest in theoretical computer science. They are often referred to simply as sequences or streams, as opposed to finite strings. Infinite binary sequences, for instance, are infinite sequences of bits (characters drawn from the alphabet {0, 1}). The set C = {0, 1}∞ of all infinite binary sequences is sometimes called the Cantor space.
Both the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland use sequential numbering systems, with the junction number indicated by a white number in a black square in the corner of signs. In the United Kingdom they are frequently referenced in the media as the number with "J" on front of it, with for example Junction 1 being referred to as "J1". If a junction is newly constructed to between two existing junctions, it is normally allocated the number of the lower of the two junctions, with the letter "A" attached (and so on). For example, a new junction opened between junctions 3 and 4 would become Junction 3A.
You probably know about Word's mail merge feature, and you might even use it to print labels or other documents, where some of the information changes (such as form letters). You can use the same feature with Publisher. Although you might not think of Publisher as an Office app, it comes with several different versions of Office. In this article, I'll show you how to print sequentially numbered tickets using Publisher and Excel. This article provides instructions for Publisher 2007, 2010, and 2013.
As I indicated, because you want to only generate this number just before saving, I would put this code behind a Save button or another event that runs just before you save the record. So if you want to prevent duplications, you don’t use the expression as a control source, but put the code behind a button or event. Since you have a Save button, put it there.

Determine what kind of numbering you want to use for your document or book. For long documents, you can assign chapter numbers. Each document can be assigned only one chapter number. If you want to use different numbering within a document, you can define ranges of pages as sections; these sections can be numbered differently. For example, the first ten pages of a document (the front matter) might use Roman numerals, and the rest of the document might use Arabic numerals.
Please tell me there is a way to accomplish this.  As stated, if two users launch the initial submission form with the lookup field populated with P1234 for example, the first user to submit get the number, and the second user now has started there purchasing with a duplicated/invalid number.  Can we increment the field on submission load?  Also, the ability to instead show the purchasing number on event completion doesn't work either, too bad.
Ok, generating a random 3 digit number is a whole different thing, so I’m not going to go into that. If you want your numbers to start at 100 (to insure three digits) then change the 0 to 99. The Nz function will return the value listed if the field is Null. So the first time you execute that code, the DMax should return a Null since no numbers have been generated for the PONum field. The Nz will then substitute 99 and then increment that by 1. You can accomplish something similar by just entering 100 as the PONum for one record. .

I am using Windows 10 and Lightroom Classic CC.  Unlike many professional photographers who go on very specific shoots, when I travel, especially, I am shooting a wide variety of shots and in many different places.  Thus, I find it most convenient to import my photos into Lightroom with only the most basic information -- metadata, and general keywords.  Then when I have the time, I go through and sort the photos into subfolders, give them titles and more specific keywords.  I also want to number these photos.  Often, however, I will want to add more photos to a subfolder -- say my husband's photos taken at the same place.  In Photoshop, these photos can be numbered so that the numbering sequence follows the photos in the same folder that have already been numbered.

Note that we can consider multiple sequences at the same time by using different variables; e.g. {\displaystyle (b_{n})_{n\in \mathbb {N} }} could be a different sequence than {\displaystyle (a_{n})_{n\in \mathbb {N} }} . We can even consider a sequence of sequences: {\displaystyle ((a_{m,n})_{n\in \mathbb {N} })_{m\in \mathbb {N} }} denotes a sequence whose mth term is the sequence {\displaystyle (a_{m,n})_{n\in \mathbb {N} }} .

I’ve been searching for the best way to create auto numbering for discovery requests: dare I say in WordPerfect I had the most amazing macros that used “counter” and creating a set of discovery was a snap. I’ve struggled to find something workable in Word. Some people use Discovery Request No. X – Interrogatory; others use Interrogatories No. X, Requests for Production No. X, Requests for Admission No. X throughout a set of discovery. There has to be a way to do this in Word, and I’ve tried several different approaches, none of which worked out that well. Would you please steer me in the right direction? Thanks very, very much.
Hello! I already have automatic numbering set up (to change paragraph numbers automatically when paragraphs are moved within a document) but I would also like to have automatic lettering within the same document that is independent from the numbering. Example, paragraph 1 references Exhibit A, paragraph 2 references Exhibit B, so on and so forth. Currently using the above referenced method, the auto numbering lettering then follows as if the letters are a representation of the corresponding number (if that makes sense), ex: 1 B 3 C 5 D. How do I have the number sequencing independent from the letter sequence? Thank you in advance!
