We also want to setup right away the crop marks for the tickets. Create another layer and call it “crop marks & score marks.” We will place the crop marks and the score line onto this layer. Start placing crop marks that you create with the Pen Tool (P) around the ticket.
Choose Continue Numbering from the context menu or choose Type > Bulleted And Numbered Lists > Continue Numbering. This command resumes numbering a list that was interrupted by commentary, graphics, or nested list items. InDesign also offers commands for numbering lists that begin in one story or book and cross into the next story or book.
You’re here because you are trying to do something good for someone in need. The world could use a few more people like you. Yet fund raising, even on a small scale, still takes a lot of work. If you’ve decided a raffle is the way to go, we’re here to help.
Tip: If you are looking for a more advanced auto-numbering system for your data, and Access is installed on your computer, you can import the Excel data to an Access database. In an Access database, you can create a field that automatically generates a unique number when you enter a new record in a table.
Unlike other Microsoft Office programs, http://thedailyrant.net does not provide a button to number data automatically. But, you can easily add sequential numbers to rows of data by dragging the fill handle to fill a column with a series of numbers or by using the ROW function.
* Place the insertion point at the beginning of the Number field, choose Insert Number Placeholder > Level 1 (or just type ^1), and then insert a period. ^1.^#.^m means the first level (1) will be followed by a period, which will be followed by the current level number (2), which will be followed by a period, which will be followed by an em space.
Word allows you to automatically number items in your document. For instance, you can automatically number figures, tables, or illustrations. If you later reorder these items, Word automatically updates the numbers so they are in order. To sequentially number items in your text, follow these steps:
Select if you want the section prefix to appear when you generate a table of contents or index, or when you print pages that contain automatic page numbers. Deselect this option to display the section prefix in InDesign but hide the prefix in the printed document, index, and table of contents.
No, I was basing that remark off of the graphic shown for the post “Numbering Lines of Text”. That graphic made it look like you were numbering paragraphs and I was thinking this was doing the same thing.
By omitting the dbFailOnError parameter only for the DROP TABLE statement, we won’t get a runtime error about a table not existing but get runtime errors if we can’t create the table or insert data for some reasons. I’m also not a big fan of creating multiple saved queries that are meant to be logically grouped together – it gets quite cluttered when there are several saved queries in a navigation pane like that. Keeping it all in VBA makes it clearer that the intention is to execute those statements together.
The background image has a size of 22p5 by 5p6. You can choose any size as long as it fits onto your page. To fit the Rectangle Frame to the background image, select the Option + Command + C. This fits the frame to the content.

Determine what kind of numbering you want to use for your document or book. For long documents, you can assign chapter numbers. Each document can be assigned only one chapter number. If you want to use different numbering within a document, you can define ranges of pages as sections; these sections can be numbered differently. For example, the first ten pages of a document (the front matter) might use Roman numerals, and the rest of the document might use Arabic numerals.
I am not sure which version of corel you are using, but typing Print Merge in the help file should bring up some step by step topics. I am using X3, but I had a crash, and need to reboot my computer to clear some errors. But one thing that may help, instead of merging a csv file, you could create the data on the fly. One thing to think through is you will need 12 data fields – for arguments sake call them “cir1”, “cir2″, Cir3” etc through “Cir12”. These become like the header row in excel. When asked for a data value, select Auto Increment and start Cir1 at 4000.
We require at least 20% extra numbers for overs (extra numbers in-case some are discarded due to quality control – for example: if you order 100 cards, you will receive at least 100 finished product, but the sequential numbering might go up to 120 because 20 of the cards had to be discarded during quality control).
Now, you can start putting images and text into here. But you can also insert the ticket number and inspirational quote in by inserting a Text Field. Clicking on those will add autofill textboxes into the merge area.
The following process occurs every time that a sequence object is requested to generate the next value for the CACHE option if there are unused values available in the in-memory cache for the sequence object.
Use the navigator on the right hand side and choose Edit All to make changes to all your tickets, such as changing the overall text style and size. Choose Edit One to make changes to individual tickets.
Note: This method is for WordPerfect 10 and later; but for any version see the quick toggling method below, which you might find faster and easier to use. In any case, please read this section first since it presents some basic information.
if you prefer they just type in the number, you can parse out the number into the Collection Point and Sequence components, then use a DLookup to return the RecordID which can be used to find the record. Like I said, the user never sees the autonumber ID, its meaningless to them.
Keyboards are defined — hence: “keyboard definitions” — by the way many of their keys — or key combinations — are “mapped” to various things. Once mapped, the keys are often called “shortcut keys”.
Click Print Preview to check the settings. (Publisher 2010 and 2013 does this automatically.) The ticket numbers should increase by one (Figure K) as they do in the Excel sheet. Publisher will generate enough pages to accommodate your entire list of values in Excel.
