Thanks everyone for your time and comments. What I was hoping to avoid was having to render out every ticket inDesign before printing. Seems like that is unavoidable. I’ll try the way you folks have suggested, thanks again.

Open a new blank document in Word. Create two raffle ticket designs, one for the person who buys the ticket and one for the organization selling them. Make sure to connect the two tickets, for example by making them in two-cell tables, side-by-side. Include the name of the organization, perhaps the first prize, and any other information you want on the buyer’s ticket. You might, for example, include http://thedailtrant.net for the buyer’s name (“Name__________”) and phone number on the organization’s ticket. On both tickets, enter a dummy number for the raffle ticket number as a placeholder.

Based loosely on how many tickets you hope to sell, enter a number in cell A1. Standard raffle practice tends toward numbers with at least a few digits, so instead of starting with 1 you might start with 10001.

Post office Box Deliveries: UPS will not deliver to Post Office Boxes. We can, however ship your raffle tickets via U.S. Priority mail. The charge for priority mail is $5.00 per 1000 raffle tickets. Add the appropriate charge in the box: “Price for Additional Services add to my order”.

While Automatic Numbering is very useful, there are times when you may want to freeze numbers. This cannot be easily undone, but the process is described here: Converting Automatic Numbering to Manual Numbering

I’ve looked at a number of different ticket/raffle tickets. Unlike the template you sent, we need to have a numbered ticket. The problem isn’t the template so much as to how transfer the entered text/logos to all the pages of the numbered template.

I work at a quick copy shop as the in house designer. They JUST moved from manual numbering to digital and each job keeps building and getting worse since I brought digital numbering to their attention. I mean it’s super easy if there’s one number but two per ticket and 8 up? It’s hard with limited tools but doable.

Drag your cursor on the Font toolbar on the top of the ms word document and formulate necessary alterations. If you are troubling to find ways to include images to make your ticket look appealing and rich, then you need not worry. Just put your cursor on the Insert option in the tool bar and hit on it to add appropriate images befitting the occasion.

Now, you’ll define the actual merge values. In this case, it’s the Ticket Numbers field in the selected Excel workbook. Drag the Ticket Numbers field from the merge pane to the document (Figure G). After dropping the field control, I pressed [Enter] to replace Microsoft with the <> field.

@Andy: I’m sorry that I sounded dismissive. That wasn’t my intent. Rather, I was just admitting that I had no idea why someone using CS3 would not see the dialog boxes as they are shown above. If you’re using CS2, they would be significantly different. But the second part of the tip (where I show the numbering dialog boxes) relies on CS3 or later. If you are using CS3 or CS4 and you don’t see that dialog box, feel free to email me at david [at] indesignsecrets [dot] com and send me a screen shot of what you are seeing.

I want to make tickets with numbers on them so when I cut them they will be in order. Type the first number in the appropriate cell, Say C3. Where the next tickets number must appear, enter the following formula: =C3+1. Press , go to each subsequent cel and press to copy. You can also use a macro, if you want to print tickets one by one, but maybe that would be a waste of paper? “ticketmaker” wrote: > I want to make tickets with numbers on them so when I cut them they will be > in order. …

Can anyone please explain this mess? We had a perfectly good working picking ticket on version 7.5, which printed back ordered items, as no one’s inventory is perfect and the salesperson marks the picking ticket if they located the item, which purchasing would then need to adjust in order to allocate the order. Now, nothing that is backordered prints, is printing 2 lines per item because we have some allocated to bins (but this is ONLY for our stock count), so don’t want that on it at all and there’s 2 different picking tickets in report writer and I have to manually modif…

Repeat this for each place where you need the ticket number to appear on your raffle ticket template. Most likely, you’ll need it on each counterfoil and each main ticket, so eight in total, like this:

Once you have your new blank document, go to File… > Page Setup… to set the correct size. You want to set this to the size of your raffle ticket, not the size of paper you are printing on. You probably want 4 raffle tickets per page, so if you are printing on A4 then set the size to 20cm wide x 7cm high, with 1cm margins:

This kind of template is very easy and fast for creating a multitude of serialized tickets. You don’t have to change each number or manually update each field. That’s far too tedious. The lottery might be over before you’re done.

Unfortunately, I think you will have to go back and start over. The starting template page is what determines how your entire document will look, so you really need to have that setup first. If you have a basic design already setup, you can just copy that over to the new format and then add the mail merge numbers back into the document. That would probably be the easiest way to approach it.

Ugh…I want to use an online raffle ticket template to print on Avery 8371 perforated paper but cannot for the life of me figure out how to continue the numbering beyond what is provided in the Word document. The mail merge does not seem to work. Any suggestions/directions?

Publisher doesn’t allow for automated sequencing, with the exception of the numbers that come on the tickets in the template. Each ticket must be hand-typed unless you choose to follow the template sequencing.

Now, you can start putting images and text into here. But you can also insert the ticket number and inspirational quote in by inserting a Text Field. Clicking on those will add autofill textboxes into the merge area.

The task of producing numbered tickets in Microsoft Word might seem pretty tough and strenuous especially for those people who are not skilled and trained in using Word files. There are quite a lot of people who have been left disappointed, disheartened and exasperated by their failures in attempting to explore how to create tickets for an event using Word templates. Many unanswered queries, doubts and confusions might have stood in the path of your success.

Create a new document in Word and type in the basic information that you need on your raffle tickets. The event you are raising money for, the price of the ticket, the date of the draw and the prizes that are on offer. Depending on your local laws, you might also need to include a licence number and contact name on each ticket.

These tricks are all great for those of us that have had the joy of making cheap, simple tickets for an office party, small fundraiser, or contest and the boss doesn’t want to spend the time and money to send this job out and have it printed properly.

Yes, it is a pain to reprint one or two sheets if you have closed the file. I’ve learned to leave the file open on the desktop until the tickets are finished. This way if the perf, or cutter messes up I can easily reprint those ticket numbers without re-aligning the art & numbering.

To change the Type — e.g., to “Number Order” (First, Second, etc.) — use the Number Type drop list on that dialog. If you delete a subsequent [Outline] code it will cause the subsequent numbers to revert to the type that was used above that point.

is that it does number properly. If you select ‘8 up’ the number file created is suitable to text merge into InDesign so that after cutting the eight stacks of tickets can be effectively placed one upon each other and the numbering holds.

It was the paper size and multiple pages that was stumping me. However I do have a tip for those wanting a short cut to raffle books of 10. It is a little more fidgety so Im sure someone who is experienced with excel (Im not) but it will make the cutting perfect. Print out in sheets of ten and you just need to staple, cut and perforate…then you have 4-5 ready made raffle books.

Now for the slightly hard bit. If you just try and complete your merge now, you’ll get several pages of tickets. Each page will have four tickets on it. But all tickets on any page will have the same number. Each page will have a different number, but all the tickets on that page will have the same number. That’s no good. You need each ticket to have a different number.

We recommend you create a print file (the default) and then print the tickets in batches from this saved file, so make sure you include all the tickets needed in this selection. This will only create the Print File, and will not go directly to the printer.

Regarding our full color items that we print: Please note due to the nature of our color printing process (CMYK), we cannot print every color available. Please note also that the color image that you view on your monitor is produced in a mode called RGB. All images we receive are automatically converted to the CMYK mode which may cause a shift in color. In addition, the same RGB color will show up differently from one computer monitor to another because of calibration differences between computer monitors. As such, we will not be responsible for any shift in any color printing and will not reprint any order that we feel is within our printing capability! Our prices are highly discounted because variations may occur. The color printing we produce is visually pleasing, but does not attempt to match exact color.

Thank you for your reply.  It reassured me that I was on the right path. From having read other Help texts, I guessed that I would have to use good ole mail-merge and set up a numbers list in Excel. Luckily my knowledge of Excel was good enough to know about the drag&drop for sequential immediate numbering. When it came to the crunch, it was this particular type of mail merge which gave me a bit of initial difficulty. Despite my having used it happily and often in Word, for labels in Publisher, it was – not surprisingly – different in certain respects; principally the crucial point of the Print stage, which necessitated finding the option Publications & Paper Settings, and selecting 2 specific parameters, namely (1) Multiple pages per sheet,  (2) Single-sided printing (my default double printing had appeared). Once I’d sussed this, it was plain sailing.  Thanks again.

Microsoft Publisher offers many design tools that let you create any type of publication or document. You can essentially make anything in Publisher, including tickets. The easiest way to make tickets in Microsoft Publisher is to download a ticket template from Microsoft Office’s website and modify it in Publisher with your own text, colors and graphics. These steps can be used for creating tickets in both Microsoft Publisher 2003 and 2007.

Do that again after the number on the third ticket on your page, BUT NOT THE FINAL TICKET ON THE PAGE. Because the final ticket is at the end of the page, and the number will increment automatically at the end of a page. If you put a ‘Next’ field there too, you’ll jump two numbers.

The problem with your document is that you have put everything into textboxes instead of into the table cells you have below them. You also don’t need the \* MERGEFORMAT switch that every SEQ field in your document now has.

I used the CS3 directions to number 500 tickets both at the top and bottom of each ticket 4 up on a page. This method worked great and really didn’t take very long at all. I dudplicated several spreads at a time to create my 125 pages of tickets ( 4up = a total of 500 numbered tickets). Thanks so much for the help!

If the second number on your raffle ticket is one higher than the first number, you must have accidentally put the <> tag after the first number (causing the next number, on the same ticket, to increase by one). You only need the <> after the second number on each ticket, so the next ticket gets a new number. (But you don’t need it on the final ticket on the **page**, because the next **page** automatically gets a new number)

Remember that you must update the values in the sheet if you want to continue the numbering series with the next batch of tickets. I’m not sure which version of InDesign first introduced printing Thumbnails like this, but even if yours doesn’t support that, your printer driver may have a similar feature of its own. Check the printer’s own dialog box by clicking “Setup…” near the bottom left corner of the Print dialog and dismissing the warning, then clicking “Preferences…” in Windows’s Print dialog that comes up (I’m not sure how to access this on Mac OS X, but I’m pretty sure there’s an easy way). For instance, on many HP printers, the feature you want is called “Pages per sheet” and has a drop-down offering 1, 2, http://thedailtrant.net 9, or 16 pages per sheet.

Being the printer, I can’t say I pass the job on to the printer. 🙂 We do it using auto page numbering, export it as one big pdf, and then use our imposition program to lay the file up multiple times on a page. A lot of jobs we do leave the number blank, and use the numbering machine later, but we’re getting more and more jobs that are run on digital presses like the Docucolor 250 and have numbers too small for the numberer, so we have to do them in the file. This works fine for single-sided jobs, but when a job numbers on one side, but not the other, it gets tricky, especially if it’s NCR, which has to be duplexed.

A very common usage for the Print Merge function in CorelDRAW is for adding numbers to tickets or invoices. Unfortunately it can be a bit of a hassle to create the list of numbers. When you have multiple tickets on a single printed sheet, it becomes even more complex as you want each stack of tickets to be in numerical order.

Raffle tickets, benefit tickets, event tickets, documents and multi-part forms can easily be numbered using Number-Pro and your favorite third party application like InDesign, Corel Draw, Word or Publisher.

Am looking for a template for a raffle ticket – preferably with a tear off stub on one end. Any ideas? Thanks! Raffle tickets are easy to make. Decide what size, input the information. You can get an idea how they would look here: http://www.raffle-tickets.com/templates.html There is a tutorial here on how to do the consecutive numbering http://www.publishermvps.com/Default.aspx?tabid=95 — Mary Sauer MS MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com “Michele” wrote in message news:AEFF2FBC-96A9-4…

At this point, you’re ready to load your card stock into the printer and print the tickets. I recommend that you preview the print job before sending it to the printer to make sure everything’s in order. To print the tickets, do the following:

After facilitating appropriate modifications, the number in the ticket series will automatically get updated by the system. Another key factor that you have to bear in mind before clicking on the print option is to check whether the tickets are updated without any errors.

If you have already developed a set of specific code numbers that you want to use to track and categorize customer responses, you can type these numbers into a column of the data source that you plan to use for the mail merge.

It’s a random number generator that can pick the numbers for your raffle. It’s specifically designed for raffles that use cloakroom style tickets. Main features: – It can be used to pick the numbers for up to 500 prizes. – Each prize can have a description attached which is displayed along with the number.

This simple raffle ticket design made of two parts. Top part (ticket) is very basic, and the space is limited to the name of your raffle event. Bottom part (coupon) is for the participants who do not need to fill in their information (name, address and phone number).

I have attached a file I am attempting to configure with sequential #’s. I have (I think) placed the switches and other codes correctly, but the numbering is a bit screwy. Will you take a peek and let me know your thoughts?

Great question! I had to try this out to see what would happen. I assumed you could do it normally, but it turns out the background image was NOT copied when I merged. So I tried added it after I merged and it placed it behind ALL my pages. So try merging your file to a new document and then adding the background image. It should add it to all your pages. And remember when you print to make sure the printer knows to print background images, otherwise they wont appear! Hope this helps!

An awesome new feature to has been introduced to Microsoft Publisher 2010 is the ability to use Data Sources to create “Catalogue Pages”. This is like a Mail Merge for design documents. Now, I would have to agree that Publisher isn’t the best graphic design program in the market. But it’s certainly adequate for simple ticket designs — for example, for a school social. Let’s say we want each ticket to have a unique number and an inspiration quote. This is all possible through Publisher and a data source, e.g. an Excel Spreadsheet.

2. At this point you need to check the selected ticket template thoroughly for any pre existing numbers. Many of the Word templates in the Microsoft Publisher come with numbers. If you wish to facilitate numbering then you can click on the number box or else you can give delete option to commence your own numbering series.

These tricks are all great for those of us that have had the joy of making cheap, simple tickets for an office party, small fundraiser, or contest and the boss doesn’t want to spend the time and money to send this job out and have it printed properly.

Homemade Raffle Ticket Generator will cost you NOTHING as long as you have Fiery with Freeform, Word, and Excel .All of which you said you have, and the best part is I have run high numbers doing this and it rips suprisingly fast, much faster then doing it from InDesign.

Thank you for these clear instructions. I have had the same problem as Mommy Vaughan and followed the suggestion. However, on re-opening the Word document, I have the dialogue box Invalid Merge Field. I have to use Task Manager to close down Word. I am using Word 2010. Maybe that is part or all of the problem. Any ideas please? I need to sort this by tomorrow night to print them on Monday!

A few days ago my wife asked me if I could help her print out raffle tickets for our local kindergarten quiz night. She had this Word document, with the raffle tickets neatly arranged on the page and was about to start typing a unique ticket number on every ticket. All 500 of them.

Thanks I have my word ticket page set up with the code you gave me. Thank you in advance. I need to set up the mail merge so I can print blocks of tickets off as I need them. How do I go about setting this up? Do I have to have a stub, ticket format like the original ticket format?

In the Republic of Ireland, junction numbers have existed since the opening of the first section of the M50 motorway in 1990, however due to the short length of Irish motorways until the early 2000s they were normally ignored by the general public. They are beginning to come into popular usage now, and since 2005 have been given greater prominence on road signs. With the development of the inter-urban motorway network under the National Development Plan and Transport 21, the National Roads Authority has adopted a numbering scheme for the inter-urban roads that will see Junction 1 being designated as that road’s junction with the M50 in most cases. This has meant renumbering of existing junctions on some motorways, most notably the M7 motorway. Non-motorway dual carriageways forming part of major inter-urban roads also have junction numbers, however only grade-separated interchanges are numbered.

To change the Type — e.g., to “Number Order” (First, Second, etc.) — use the Number Type drop list on that dialog. If you delete a subsequent [Outline] code it will cause the subsequent numbers to revert to the type that was used above that point.

Start writing the text for the numbers. In this case, I typed ticket “nr.” Leave any numbers out. This will be filled in by the data file. As you can see, the text box wraps around the full tickets with crop marks.

4.  Type tool, place insertion cursor in the first text frame on page 1, (remember this frame is on the Master), apply your paragraph style you’ve just created, press and hold Return button as this will apply Paragraph Style and the cursor will jump to next frame.

it can be done with almost any software that has print merge function (we use corel draw a lot for such jobs). you create a excel file with numbers, and merge them into design. once you learn it it is raffle ticket numbering in word and fast.

When the context menu opens, look for the choice Edit Field…. If it doesn’t exist, then your template doesn’t use the SEQ function. If it does exist, click on it. When the next window opens, you should see SEQ in the Advance field properties box. That template definitely uses SEQ.

I am printing many pages of tickets. Each page has 5 tickets and I would like to sequentially put a number on each ticket. I have tried to use the auto page numbering feature but that is putting the same number on each of the 5 tickets and then increments for the next page — not what I need. Also, can the numbering not suppress the leading zeroes? Thanks.

I had wanted to create a file that didn’t require Excel as the data source, so I created one using SEQ fields. It was terrible and too huge to mention (thanks Doug Robbins), so I recreated it using Word as the data source so that people who only have Word can use it. You can create up to 5,000 tickets without changing the data file. If you only have Word and need to create more than 5,000 tickets, please don’t type the ticket numbers. Just drop me an email and I’ll create another data file for you with the required numbers.

I went through the video and everything worked perfectly. Thank you so much for this helpful video. However, I need to go back in a edit the size of overall format, to fit into a stock OfficeDepot template and add 500 numbers. It’s not happening,… is it not possible to edit after you have done the mailmerge? Do I have to start all over and create a new one?

I need to change text in pre set lines to accommodate 4 prizes. How do I change it so that it will show on all tickets? Are you using a template? How many tickets are there per page? Are you using a merge? If you are using a merge and you have one ticket on your screen, changing the prize entries should change the prize entries on all the tickets. I’m trying to skip a couple numbers in the sequence. Is there an easy way to do that? I’m building an auction catalog with over 830 items but some of them aren’t going to be listed in the catalog. Is it just easier to restart numbering at that point? Thank you!

Now, the tricky part is Cir1 will print in the same location on all 42 pages.  So 4000 will for arguments sake be the 1st circle top left corner, 4002 will be the same circle on page 2, 4003 on page 3, etc all the way through page 42.  Cir1 on page 42 will be numbered 4042.

I have done this twice now, getting flustered. The ticket part the person keeps has the correct sequential number on it, but the side that we keep has the same number on it for the whole page. What part am I missing, at first I did not uncheck the box, but this time I did but have the same number on the stub side that we keep with the person’s name, etc

(If you prefer using the keyboard, rather than the mouse, then do this instead of dragging down: select cell A2, hit CTRL+C to copy, then select cell A3 and use SHIFT+PgDn to select all the way down to row 500. Then hit CTRL+V to paste.)

Numbered tickets are a bitch in InDesign. Mainly because if the RIP time. I’ve found that what I have to do is do two runs. One run of just the tickets with the blank area for the numbers. Then I put those back through the copier to print the numbers raffle ticket numbering in indesign them. You want to set up an excel sheet with just one set of your numbers. Not 1, 1, 2, 2. Just 1-3000. Then you create the text boxes for the numbers for the first ticket and draw a text box that is the exact size of the ticket around and send it to the background. Then do a mail merge. You will grab the mail merge name of the column and drop it into each text box so each text box will have the name of your column (like <>). That means that being the same, each number will go into each box so the first ticket will get number 1 and number 1. Then you do the mail merge doing multiple entries per page or whatever it’s called and it will create all the pages needed. So you will end up with a 375 page document to create 3000 total tickets based on an 8 up.

Nicole – I’m not sure. Are the page and margin settings (from step 1) definitely correct? If each ticket was a little too big, so that only two tickets could be fitted on each sheet of paper, that might create the problem you’ve experienced. Other than that, I’m baffled …

Right now I’m making a straight sequence of numbers (two to a ticket). There are 3000 tickets (3001-6000 for an example) so my numbered list is double that since there are two to a ticket. Right now my flow is this:

At this point of time, do not forget to bring up to date the series of numbers of tickets already copied. This can be achieved by just highlighting the number and hitting on the right side of the mouse. The word document will let down a drop-down menu that will provide you all the necessary options to revise and keep up to date the field.

Change all other existing text to reflect the correct date and prizes by highlighting the words and either editing or deleting the existing text. Font size and style can be adjusted using the font toolbar above the document. Images can be added by using the Insert menu in the toolbar and following the same process as inserting images to a Word document.

I am creating a file in inDesign for a client that is asking for numbered tickets. They’d like to be able to print a specific number for each ticket. I’ve read some of the older answers for similar questions that refer to Data Merge, but I’d prefer not to take that route if avoidable. What I’d ultimately like to do is create a space for the numbers to go, select the number of pages within the Print menu, and have the spaces populate with the corresponding numbers while printing.

Add unique numbers to gift certificates     By using a unique number on each certificate, you can track when gift certificates are redeemed, by whom, and for what product or service. In addition, by adding unique tracking numbers, you can ensure that the gift certificates are not duplicated or redeemed more than once.

Whatever your fundraising needs are for; school fundraising, church fundraising, gun raffles, or any other type raffle needs, you will find a low cost ticket to choose from that will be delivered with fast turnaround. All our prices include sequential numbering. Within each style, you also have the option as to whether the tickets come loose, padded or in booklets.

You simply add more! It’s very simple in Excel. Go to the end of the file where you see the 10,000th number. All you have to do is highlight the 10,000th number and 1 or 2 rows above it. Then you click on the bottom right corner (where the square is) of the 10,000th number cell and simply drag it down until you reach your desired number. You should see it increasing each number by 1 as you scroll down. Once you let go of the mouse, the numbers will be placed in the cells.

You can use Microsoft Office Publisher, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Office Access, Microsoft Office Outlook, or Microsoft Office Outlook with Business Contact Manager to create a data source for your mail merge project. If you want to create a large list of unique, sequential numbers to use as tracking codes for gift certificates or coupons, however, you can use Excel to quickly generate this list.

My only argument against Data Merge for numbering tickets is that it takes far longer (for me, at least) than this numbering feature. However, if you had multiple pieces of data (not just numbers) that needed to change from ticket to ticket, then Yes! Data Merge or XMPie or InData or something like that would likely be better.

If you place multiple frames on one page and apply the same numbering style, InDesign will count not be placement but order of creation. That is the reason why I get this weird order on the picture above.

I’m struggling with this as well. I tried creating a .txt file of sequential numbers 1-99 from Excel and brought it in as a datamerge. My tickets are 8″x3″, 3-up, but when I did the merge, InDesign added 3,416 pages. Where the Hell is THAT coming from?? Any clue what I’m doing wrong? I’m using a tutorial that is using CS5, but I don’t see how that has anything to do with all those bloody pages.

I’ve also been using NumberPress for about a year and it is awesome. You can easily position numbers as many up per form and as many up on a sheet as you will ever need. It also does variable data (I’ve only used a couple of times).Took a little while to learn but is now a piece of cake.

The ticket numbering problem seems solved, if awkwardly. But what about linking automatic numbering of text references to a figure (e.g. “see fig.101″) to a legend of that figure (e.g. Fig. 101 shows….”)? Is this quite beyond InDesign CS3? If it is solvable the solution isn’t mentioned in any CS3 book I have managed to get hold of, nor is it dealt with in the CS3 Help facility as far as I can see, nor were the speakers at a recent Adove CS3 Workshop able to solve it. Please advise this frustrated book author!

There is very simple solution that we use and that is to lay out the sheet say 6 up on a A4 sheet as a master page and in document setup set the number of pages to 1,000 if that is the amount you require. Put a page number on each ticket on the page and although they will all have the same number on each page, we put the the first two letters of the customers business name before each number followed by the letters of the alphabet so it then reads for example BT1A, BT2A, BT3A, BT1B, BT2B, BT2C and so on as each page is printed.

When the context menu opens, look for the choice Edit Field…. If it doesn’t exist, then your template doesn’t use the SEQ function. If it does exist, click on it. When the next window opens, you should see SEQ in the Advance field properties box. That template definitely uses SEQ.

You saved my life! I work at a School Board with 200+ schools and 100+ departments and I have to number every ticket I make. Football, Baseball, Raffles, Prom, Graduation… the list goes on. The worse part is each is different and has to have x number in this color that color it can be very frustrating. Then to top it off I have the most random number of requested tickets sometimes and it was extremely difficult to find a method that worked and yours did! Like a charm! I can choose how many zero how many out I need and if there are special versions I can separate them too! Thank you, I was just about to run screaming from the building!

Or how do I create the raffle tickets in Excel? I would really appreciate any help. Concerning the number sequence, you want to put identical numbers in A1 an B1. Then, highlight the columns and Fill -> Series -> Increment. Do the same for Columns C and D, and so on such that you have a page full of raffle tickets. — Anne Murray “jthhousing” wrote: > I would like to create raffle t…

Thank you for these instructions!! I’m using them to auto number my son’s baseball team raffle tickets which we hand numbered last year (UGH!). I followed the instructions exactly but for some reason the numbering is starting at 2 every time. I did deselect the checkbox about the column headers which seems the obvious culprit. Any ideas? I’m using Word on a PC. Thanks!!
