The problem with the previous example is that it’s OK since you only need it in one place but if you will have several places where it is used, you now have to qualify the instance of VBA.Collection to each place – not insurmountable but too easy to get messy and hairy very fast.
Where the prize is a valuable work of art, the process may be termed an art union, particularly where the beneficiary is the originating artist. Australian artists who have disposed of their works in this way include Alfred Felton and James Ashton.
Brilliant! I followed your instructions to the end, though I had to Google how to do a mail merge in Publisher 2010. But, with your help, I now have gorgeous raffle tickets of my own design! Thank you 🙂
Use the navigator on the right hand side and choose Edit All to make changes to all your tickets, such as changing the overall text style and size. Choose Edit One to make changes to individual tickets.
Both the Collection Point ID and Artifact ID fields are bound properly and display those exact names in the property sheet under both control source and name. On the save button I have on the form, when I click on the event tab and the on click option I have event procedure and I click the […] option to open up the code builder and this is what I currently have:
By clearing the Prefix and Suffix fields and setting the the other options to start at number one we can instruct FileBoss to rename the files by replacing the the name (not the extension) with a serial number.
What if I need to create 200 vouchers and each has a unique code not in any sort of numeric or alphabetical order. The codes are listed in excel under one column. Is there a way to link the text frame on a master page where the codes should be placed to the excel document to assign one code per voucher?
We also want to setup right away the crop marks for the tickets. Create another layer and call it “crop marks & score marks.” We will place the crop marks and the score line onto this layer. Start placing crop marks that you create with the Pen Tool (P) around the ticket.
As an example, assume you were planning on selling your 500 tickets (each with 2 sets of numbers) for $5. It is much smarter to order 1000 tickets (each with 1 number set) instead. Instead of selling the tickets for $5 each, sell them 2 for $5 (you’ll raise exactly the same amount of money). 1000 standard raffle tickets will cost you less than half the price of 500 “2 number random tickets”.
I am printing many pages of tickets. Each page has 5 tickets and I would like to sequentially put a number on each ticket. I have tried to use the auto page numbering feature but that is putting the same number on each of the 5 tickets and then increments for the next page — not what I need. Also, can the numbering not suppress the leading zeroes? Thanks….
I’m struggling with this as well. I tried creating a .txt file of sequential numbers 1-99 from Excel and brought it in as a datamerge. My tickets are 8″x3″, 3-up, but when I did the merge, InDesign added 3,416 pages. Where the Hell is THAT coming from?? Any clue what I’m doing wrong? I’m using a tutorial that is using CS5, but I don’t see how that has anything to do with all those bloody pages.

Create an Excel worksheet that has as many numbers in it as you need. For instance, if you need 175 labels, you would place a title in cell A1 (such as “Number”) and the 175 numbers you need in cells A2 through A176. Make sure you save the workbook.
In the past, I manually prepared a sheet of labels in Microsoft Word, but this was clumsy and time-consuming. Lately, however, I have used a very easy SEQ script that is already available in the program; I just didn’t know it was there.
To ensure each number fills its own text frame, select the whole story (Command/Ctrl-A), open the Keep Options (Command/Ctrl-Option/Alt-K) and choose In Next Frame from the Start Paragraph pop-up menu.
Lastly, students should understand that it is the responsibility of management to sequentially number source documents and not of auditor. Auditors only check whether source documents are sequentially numbered or not as it shows the seriousness of management in preparing accurate financial statements which is one their prime responsibility as the attitude of management is vital in assessing inherent risks and control risks which ultimately affect audit risk.
FONT TIP: Do not use any fonts that start with a period. For example, instead of using ”.Helvetica” use ”Helvetica” instead. Fonts that start with a period in the font menu are not compatible with Number Press.
When you apply a list using the buttons, you are not applying a style. If you drop down the styles list, does it show “List Number” as the style in use? On my computer it shows the same style I started with, i.e. Body Text. When you apply a list number style directly, from the Styles list, do your changes to that style apply?
In this scenario we are assuming that there will be no more than 999 documents attached to a case. In Scenario 2 we assumed no more than 9999 inquires during a year. So you need to adjust the number of zeros when formatting Sequence for the anticipated number of records. Of course this can always be changed later. You also don’t need to format the sequence with leading zeros as the Format function does. As shown the expression returns something like: DCASD/CI123-025 for the 25th document in case CI123 for client DCASD. Without leading zeros it would be: DCASD/CI123-25. The advantage to the latter is that you don’t have to anticipate the number of records you might have the sequence, but I’ve found many users prefer a more uniform number with the leading zeros.
If you know in advance that you need outline numbering for your paragraphs, you will want to choose the correct format from the Bullets and Numbering dialog box. Applying one of the preset formats to a paragraph or paragraphs that are already bulleted or numbered applies it to the entire list. There is a specific tab for outline numbers — the Outlined Numbered tab.

Tutorial for creating sequential numbers on Avery Labels with Microsoft Word 2007 and Microsoft Excel 2007. This may work with other versions, such as Word 2010, Word 2013 and Word 2016, and Excel 2010, Excel 2013 and Excel 2016.
Press Ctrl+V for each additional row of labels you want. You want enough rows of labels to meet your entire needs. Thus, if you need a total of 125 labels, and you can get 3 labels per line, you should end up with 42 rows of labels.
Family and friends: Start close to home. People who know you, and like you, are more likely to buy from you. Fundraiser Insight says you should sell “face-to-face because it’s harder to turn someone down when they’re standing right in front of you.”
“I received my order and just want to thank you for your professionalism. I don’t normally purchase things online but this was a waaay better experience than I’d had with a local printer that I’d been referred to.”
2. Check the existing document for prepopulated ticket numbers. Some Publisher templates include these. Click any numbered box to enable it, then click the “Delete” key to remove it, as you want to start your own sequence. Scroll through any other pages that may have been included with the template, and remove all of the sequenced numbers.
The tickets were printed exactly as ordered and arrived on the day they were scheduled to. We are very happy again with the high quality nature of the printing and the material the tickets are printed on, even with choosing the least expensive options. We’ll be back next time we need tickets!
Click Preview & Print to review your design. To make adjustments, just click the Customize button to go back to the Customize screen. When your design is complete, just click the Print button to create the PDF file. Open the file, and your tickets are ready to be printed.
The Sequence Field has no switch to change the interval between numbers. It is always the next integer from the last one unless you are restarting the numbering. So, if you want a sequence of odd (1, 3, 5, 7,…) or even (2, 4, 6, 8, …) numbers, how can you generate it using the SEQ field?
Don’t take our word for it — try the fully functional demo below! You can test all the features of the full version to see how Number Press will work for you but with “Number Press: Unregistered Version” printed in two locations. The full version removes this text.

If you cannot modify your original schema, the tool could probably be reworked a little to give you the option to preserve the original ObjectID in a user defined field added to the output by the tool (after the script first makes sure that your original is a geodatabase or feature class type that supports these IDs). That would make the tool much more flexible so that it could do joins back to data that cannot have its schema altered or that is otherwise protected from user overwrites. This is also useful for where you want to use the output feature classes/tables to help you process and analyze multiple selections sets against your original data where the previous selection may constrain your next selection. (After I get a bit more comfortable with Python I will probably try to do that modification if someone else does not post it first).
I purchased the All Purpose Raffle Ticket 0007 for a raffle for Project Graduation. The tickets were perfect and received them one day ahead of schedule. If you need tickets in a hurry and a good value, chose these tickets with this company. Thanks!!!
The script comes with a toolbox to make it easily accessible in ModelBuilder, but I found that the tool initally gave an error when I tried to run it. I had to go into the script properties and correct the source by browsing to the location where I had stored the script.
Start adding some text. Date, time, place, event, etc. Be creative. You can place color boxes behind the text and play with the font sizes. I usually never use more the two fonts, and if I do, I’ll make sure that they are quite the opposite. Pick a font with a big family, meaning lots of weights. Helvetica, DIN or Univers are good choices.
