I use a little program called “Number It” I purchased on E-bay a couple of years ago. It will print the ticket (from bmp file) and number on the Canon 3200 in one pass. BW or Color. Nice little program and well worth the $50-80 price.
And now understand that if vouchers are not sequentially numbered then we might end up not recording them in financial records which in short mean incomplete financial statements or simply financial statements not giving true and fair view.
With this program & Corel DRAW you can engrave and print anything with serial numbers. Serial numbers will be replaced automatically. With this program & Corel DRAW you can engrave and print anything with serial numbers. Serial numbers will be replaced automatically.
Of course, there are third-party solutions that are available for creating sequentially numbered labels. One that comes highly recommended by several WordTips subscribers is Bates Labels from Payne Consulting (http://www.payneconsulting.com). This free Word template allows you to easily create as many labels as you need for a specific purpose.
Tip Using the same logic for underlining from a number, you can make the paragraph number bold without having the text of the paragraph formatted as bold. In the Customize window of the Bullets and Numbering dialog box, choose the applicable level and click Font. Select Bold, and click OK twice.

Sorting is stable in Python so successive sorting works. The sort processing has to be done in the reverse order of the sort priority of the fields being processed, with the least significant sort field being processed first and the most significant sort field being processed last. That’s right. There’s a great ticket template that comes with Microsoft Word 2010 and newer. When you create a new document in word, just type “raffle tickets” in the search box. Then you’ll see a thumbnail image of the template.
Microsoft Publisher, the desktop publishing component of the Professional version of the Office Suite, can perform many time-saving tasks for busy business owners, including layout and design work. It can even help you avoid a shopping run to try to find tickets for your next employee picnic, holiday giveaway or executive board meeting. Create your own tickets, including the vital sequential ordering needed for raffles or attendance tracking, using Publisher’s page numbering. With a few tricky manipulations of the page number process, you can start running the numbers in an entirely new fashion.
Hi Scott you helped me with the sequential numbering however, I am having a problem where I changed from before insert to putting the code behind a button Save Record and Get New Number under the OnClick
I’m struggling with this as well. I tried creating a .txt file of sequential numbers 1-99 from Excel and brought it in as a datamerge. My tickets are 8″x3″, 3-up, but when I did the merge, InDesign added 3,416 pages. Where the Hell is THAT coming from?? Any clue what I’m doing wrong? I’m using a tutorial that is using CS5, but I don’t see how that has anything to do with all those bloody pages.
In the other tab for the PONum field, I typed in txtPONum as you had mentioned earlier. It is just not generating a number. I don’t even know what question to ask now, ’cause I do not know where this is going wrong. I’ll keep trying something…
If your tickets don’t require sequential numbering, you can find more templates at RaffleTicketTemplates.org. The tickets there are more the standard fare. They have different sizes, layouts, and downloads for both Microsoft Word and Corel Draw.
Select the Text Tool (T) and start dragging a text box that will wrap around the whole ticket including the crop marks. This is very important since the Data Merge will automatically calculate the duplication. Then open up the Text Frame Option (Command + B) and set the Inset spacing to 1p4 for the top and 1p8 for the left. Of course, you can place the text for the numbers anywhere you like. I set the numbers to a small text.

If you want numbered headings to be underlined, but do not want a line under the number, it can be difficult if you don’t know how it works. This is because by default, the format of the number follows the format of the text that follows it. For example, let’s say you want to underline a paragraph in a Heading 2 style. Chances are it will look like this:
“I received my order and just want to thank you for your professionalism. I don’t normally purchase things online but this was a waaay better experience than I’d had with a local printer that I’d been referred to.”
Anyone who has used another numbering software can tell you that placing the numbers is a nightmare… but not with Number Press. Just go into the Quick Layout, and click exactly where you’d like the numbers to appear — up to 128 of them! And, unlike other numbering programs, we actually SHOW you what number you’ve placed. You can also rotate any numbers you wish to whatever angle you’d like. It’s so cool and fast!
It is a premium coated ultra smooth paper label stock. It has a bright white matte finish that provides smudge resistance and excellent imaging properties. It features a permanent acrylic adhesive and will adhere to most clean, dry surfaces.
Hi – are you creating your own tickets using the instructions on this page? If so, you can of course change the font and everything else in your Word document. If you are using the Raffle Ticket Creator app (app.raffleticketcreator.com) then you can’t change the font size … you’ll just need to tinker with the exact words that you are including in order to get them to fit on the page. Hope that helps!
